Played through the game this week and had a blast with it! It's been a while since I've played 2016, but I think I like this more. The shooting is a lot of fun and the soundtrack is incredible. The only things I didn't like were the platforming, the constant tutorials, and the story. It's not that the story is bad, I just think it's too complicated for a Doom game. Most of them are just "Demons? Not anymore." but this one involves multiple planets, godlike creatures, and a lot of backstory for the slayer. On a side note, I did think it was neat that he's called Doomguy in the subtitles during the flashbacks. I just hope the next game is a return to form.
