I really hope they make Nemesis as agile and challenging as in the original and that all the changes they have confirmed won't hurt the replay value, if there will be any to begin with. OG RE3 is my favorite game of all time, but let's be honest, there weren't many incentives to go for more runs like in the previous 2 games with other characters / scenarios, it's just that the campaign was done so well with great memorable set-pieces and music. I'd love Carlos to have his own campaign, but given the early release date and the MP included in the same package, I somewhat doubt it. And then there's the RE8 news of going back to first-person and featuring werewolves, like damn, what else Capcom got for us in store?

This month I've started trying to get back to finishing games before moving onto another one, so I wrapped up a bunch that I've been splitting time on for awhile now.

1108. Donkey Kong 3 - 1/1 [8/10]
1109. Donkey Kong Jr. - 1/1 [10/10]
1110. Neo Cab - 1/1 [9/10]
1111. The Original Mobile Games - Politics Pack - 1/2 [8/10]
1112. Gun Godz - 1/2 [7/10]
1113. Overcooked 2: Night of the Hangry Horde - 1/5 [9/10]
1114. Kyle is Famous - 1/5 [8/10]
1115. LEGO City Undercover - 1/6 [8/10]
1116. Pistol Whip - 1/6 [9/10]
1117. Knights and Bikes - 1/7 [8/10]
1118. Black Mirror: Bandersnatch - 1/11 [8/10]
1119. Mutazione - 1/12 [8/10]
1120. The White Door - 1/12 [5/10]
1121. Descenders - 1/12 [6/10]
1122. Projection: First Light - 1/12 [7/10]
1123. Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite - 1/13 [6/10]
1124. Snakebird Primer - 1/18 [7/10]
1125. Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!! - 1/22 [9/10]
1126. Passpartout: The Starving Artist - 1/25 [7/10]
1127. Children of Morta - 1/25 [6/10]
1128. Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! - 1/25 [9/10]
1129. Doom (1993) - 1/27 [10/10]
1130. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate - Challenger Pack 5: Byleth - 1/29 [7/10]

Best was Neo Cab. Near future Uber driver turned out to be the perfect setting for a visual novel.

Worst may be a bit contentious to fans of Rusty Lake, with The White Door. I haven't played other games from the developer, and this wasn't a good place to start. A boring story with boring gameplay.

This month I'm looking forward to cleaning up the rest of my playlist, checking out some new games like Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! and The Pedestrian.

Games I've beaten
Crayon Shin-chan 4 - Ora no Itazura Daihenshin - Jan 1 2020 7/10
Golden Axe: The Revenge of Death Adder - Jan 14, 2020 8/10
Sonic Heroes (PC) - Jan 31, 2020 3/10

The crayon japanese game I discovered through r/Emulation because it was December 2019's Game Of The month on that subreddit (and r/EmulationAndroid and r/EmulationOnPC). It was an ok platformer that was pretty easy. Me and my little brother actually beaten Golden Axe Death Adder together which was the last game I played with him before I came back to NZ since my little brother lives with my mom in the Philippines. And there was Sonic Heroes. I saw one day last month on Twitter that this game was trending for some reason so I gave the game a try. Little did I know that it played like Shadow The Hedgehog since it was using the same engine which was pretty crap btw. The game felt like a chore most of the time and I just wanted to beat it so bad for me not to spend more time on this game. When I got to beat the last level, I felt the biggest sign of relief.
