I have prey in the backlog waiting to be played. I don't own control. However, I do really want to play it. My ps4 just couldn't handle it though.

I'm a bit late, but here is what I completed this may
May 1: Amnesia Justine
May 2: Heavy Rain
May 9: Amnesia A Machine For Pigs
May 9: Amnesia Collection
May 14: New Super Mario Bros U Deluxe
May 15: Nioh: Complete Edition
May 20: Resident Evil Village
May 28: Battlefield 1 Campaign
Best: Resident Evil Village
Though not super scary, Resident Evil Village is a fun romp for the Resident Evil franchise. It may be more action focused, but it still has the fun puzzle solving of the franchise that gives a great experience overall. The story is pretty sold, and has some really fun moments. Re7 is still better in my opinion but this is still a solid follow up to it. 9/10
Worst: Battlefield 1 Campaign
This campaign has a great idea with each individual war story, but was not able to follow up on each one. The main problem is length. All 5 stories are about an hour long, and don't do enough to make each one and its characters interesting. I also found each one to be too gimmicky and kind of boring. The combat is solid, but with the constant tacked on stealth sections and meh vehicle sections, its really is really held back. 5/10
That is what I did this May. Most of these games were pretty much already done by the time the month started, and I just needed to finish them. I plan on playing many more games this month as I'm out of school till August.

Hah, interesting question. Two titles just from that list? It would probably be Mini Metro and Doom, honestly. Even though I don't think that's a very interesting answer. lol
But Mini Metro is just an excellent casual puzzle game and Doom rightfully considered a classic masterpiece. It was a lot of fun to play through.
Pokémon Super Gold 97 would be a special recommendation for those who are familiar with (and enjoy) classic Pokémon games, because it is quite unique.

Super Mario Odyssey - May 2nd - 19 Hours 1 Minute - 9/10
Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - May 18th - 147 Hours 33 Minutes - 100%! - 8/10
A slow month just like my reply to this topic was slow, but I did make sure to finish a pair of quality games, and part of that is because I was DETERMINED to finish Cyber Sleuth on my road to 100%ing it which I started like halfway through when I realized I basically was already. The game is obviously flawed in a lot of areas (Combat's somewhat too simple, the ending is very hit or miss, notable translation issues) but I connected really hard to the cast of characters (Yuuko best), the soundtrack is fuckin' great, it had a lot of GREAT side quests and when the main plot hit it hit quite well, and the translation could be bizarrely good at times despite the serious issues. In particular, was good at giving everyone a very distinct "character voice". It's definitely on the low end of an 8, but I think it scratched it out by the end when I was feeling bittersweet about not getting to play it again.
As for Super Mario Odyssey? Well, believe the hype! I really wanna finish the extra content like Darker Side before I fully compare it to it's favorite Mario platformer competition (Super Mario Bros. 3 and Super Mario Sunshine), but it feels like it's gotta be up there. REAL pretty visually, the movement is veeery smooth (although I might like Sunshine's movement more because it is SO tight), the story's simple as expected but Bowser brings it R E A L this game, a pretty solid challenge at various points. Not nail-bitingly hard, but that's not a bad thing. Lots of good Cappy use, clever short puzzles, colorful and varied worlds that give it an adventurous feel. I know a lot of people complain about "too many moons", but that isn't necessarily an issue outside of 100%ing, I tried to max out my moons every world despite knowing like 50% come available post game and I didn't really feel fatigued.
It took me too long to beat for no real reason (I think I was enjoying it so much I didn't feel like playing it during a bunch of more meh moods), but I'm glad to have it in the books!

Absolutely Nothing.
I did spend my time playing Forza Horizon 2 but never got around to fully completing the game. But when the June 2021 Games Beaten Thread pops up It'll definitely be a better month for me in general. And again, Sorry I was late to this but I ended up taking a break from the site for a couple months. I'll talk more about the games I beat when the June 2021 thread comes up.

Idk, I found darker side to not be that hard. You can cheese a lot of it if you are willing to play around with the games physics, such as skipping the hardest part with gliding. Champions road is so much harder.
