I replayed 1-4 again around November time. 4 is still my favourite. The bosses are pretty different from previous installments bar a couple (Dive Man - yet another slight variation on an underwater boss), the level design is spot on, and the mega buster is a feature that works really well. It is possible that it's my favourite because it was the first one I played as a kid though...

I got the Mega Man Legacy Collection when it came out. Struggled on the first level of the first one and have yet to get back to it lol. I will though at some point I just have a ton of other games I was and am working through.

I'm of the opinion (I'm sure others would agree) that the first game is the least enjoyable of the lot. It's worth playing for completions sake, but it's much better from MM2.

I was watching the Kinda Funny guys play through these games on a live stream last year and it made me get the itch to play them again. I almost picked up the legacy collection then but I heard it was coming to 3ds so I waited. I believe it just dropped this last week so I may download it and check them out.
