WTF, I watched the first minute. Those poses are nothing alike. Same with the 3 girls that appear shortly after.

Did you know that Star Wars is a reference to Mass Effect? In both games, a male character is known to shout and speak English. Both have arms that are used to manipulate weapons in an aggressive way, evoking the duel between Darth Vader and Luke in the Empire Strikes Back film.

I'm glad it wasn't my imagination. I would argue that FFX-2 is absolutely "inspired" by Charlies Angels though.

Omg!! I've already seen this, but at that time I didn't notice Pearl was also in that boat... Which probably means she's the one who dragged them there in the first place, which I find hilarious xD

This has been my favorite nod to the original trilogy so far. There’s still quite a few other references if you examine everything so I’m very glad I at least finished the first three before playing this.

Probably the references to previous Konomi games in Metal Gear Solid when fighting Psycho Mantis. I have very vivid memories of when we got the game, my dad playing that part for the first time, and freaking out and swearing and my mom giving him hell for "cussing in front of the kids"

Fun Fact: My dad swore in other games in front of us all the time.

It would have to be the Easter Egg from Danganronpa of Conan Edogawa’s bow tie from Detective Conan. It gave me a good laugh when I first saw it.

Oh VA-11 Hall-A is chock full of these. Off the top of my head, a toy version of Turing from 2064: Read Only Memories you can buy, a bounty hunter mentioned by one of the characters being called "Jet Black James" and various in-universe games that reference other games (e.g. YIIK: The Final Remaster).
