I really enjoyed taking part in gamemaster1991's 'Four in February' challenge, and wanted to continue it with my own spin. Hence:

Four on Four. Each month, pick four games from four different platforms to play. Any other limitations or criteria are completely up to you!

As an example, mine will be:

Avalon Code (DS)
Haze (PS3)
Rayman Origins (PC)
Severed (Vita)

Will there be an option to cover it off over 2 or 3 devices too? I only own the PS4, PS3 and Vita

I can get behind doing this again, but I'm not going to be doing it as seriously. 4iF kinda drained me by the end, so I'm going to be more laid back.

Lets go with:
F.3.A.R. (360)
Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights (3DS)
Jet Force Gemini (N64)
Katamari Damacy (PS2)

You might consider a mobile game, or an older title on an emulator (you can play GB/GBA/NES/SNES games on a toaster-grade laptop). Or you could grab a PSP or PS1 or PS2 classic from the PlayStation Store to cover that fourth platform. Or not; the power is in your hands!

I'm with you there - I only have Patapon left, but whether it's the game or the challenge, I'm just not enthused about playing it. I've tried to be a bit savvy by purposely picking short games like Severed and Haze to reduce the load this month.

I usually do a 'three a month' thing on GAF, I guess I could add another game :p

My projected four for March are...

1. Style Savvy: Fashion Forward (3DS) - I've been playing it in short bursts throughout February. I'm sure I can finish it by the end of March.
2. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - It's Zelda! I wanna play it :p
3. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3) - Catching up on (or rather, playing all of) the MGS series is one of my goals this year, and I've already started MGS4.
4. Lara Croft GO (Android) - I should bother to play my mobile games....

EDIT: Oh snap, I didn't even notice the four different systems rule until after I made this. Well I managed to pick four different systems anyway :D

EDIT 2: Retired Atelier Sophie, it's not fun. I replaced it with Breath of the Wild! It might be a little hard to beat all four of these, though...

Here are my four games. Hope I'll stick to them. I tried to pick games I have not played yet, or have at least not played in January.

Solatorobo: Red The Hunter (Nintendo DS)
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (PSP)
Catherine (PS3)
Paper Mario: Color Splash (WiiU)

Edit: I'm probably going to swap one of these games with Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World (3DS). Not sure which one yet, though.

For March :

Donkey Kong Country 3 (GBA)
Dragon Quest VIII (3DS)
Paper Mario : Color Splash (Wii U)
The Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess (Wii)

I have only 27 games in my backlog and i worry about not finishing him. I imagine for people who have hundred of games in their backlogs xD

First week progress report:

Avalon Code (DS) - Not started.
Haze (PS3) - Completed (06/03). Decent gunplay, but everything else ranges from poor to meh. Enemy AI in particular is terrible. A disappointment.
Rayman Origins (PC) - Played the first few levels, I like what I've seen so far.
Severed (Vita) - Just started the second dungeon, what a fantastic game both mechanically and artistically!

Horizon Zero Dawn PS4 6 hours in and this game is great! It will probably be in my top 10 of 2017.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Wii U 15 hours in and I think I have played enough to say that this is my favorite Zelda game. 10/10 will most likely be my nr 1 game of 2017
These 2 will take most of my time for the next couple of weeks.
I will also play Nier: Automata on PC (it will be nice to experience 60 fps again) and maybe Gears of War 4 on Xbox One if I still have any time left.

Game completion update:

Avalon Code (DS) - Not started.
Haze (PS3) - Completed (06/03). Decent gunplay, but everything else ranges from poor to meh. Enemy AI in particular is terrible. A disappointment.
Rayman Origins (PC) - Played the first few levels, I like what I've seen so far.
Severed (Vita) - Completed and Platinum (09/03). Mechanically and visually stunning, had me hooked all the way through. And at 6 hours it's just the right length.

I never stick to anything, so here's my updated list.

Solatorobo: Red The Hunter (Nintendo DS) not started
LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (PSP) not started
Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World (Nintendo 3DS) currently playing
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (WiiU) currently playing

Breath of the Wild has been taking up most of my time so far. I'm 30 hours in and I love it a lot. Might take a while to finish.
For Poochy & Yoshi's Woolly World I'm currently at world 3.
The other two I haven't started yet.

For what it's worth, I had a blast with Solatorobo when I played it a few years back. It's fairly easy/straightforward, which I quite enjoyed and found relaxing. Side-note: to 100% it and get the 'true' ending, you needed to clear a few free DLC missions, which can no longer be downloaded since the online services for DS were closed.

Life happened and I gotta move on the first of next month, so instead of focusing on longer games I gotta switch to shorter game mode. Kind of disappointing since I wanted to knock a few off the list I've been meaning to get to for a while, but I just don't have the time to play 3 16 hour games in between packing haha.

New plan:
Roller Coaster Tycoon Deluxe, PC, workin' on it (2 scenarios left)
Adventure Time: Hey Ice King Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?!, Nintendo 3DS, finished
Retro/Grade, PS3, not started
Donald Duck: Goin' Quackers, Nintendo 64, not started

RTC has been the long-game exception, mostly because it's incredibly easy to build up a park and just leave it running while doing other things. Check in every so often to make sure there isn't puke everywhere and things are running relatively well, build a ride or two, then disappear again while it runs smoothly. xD

Since I'm already most of the way through the game, I'm replacing Jet Force with Persona 3.

F.3.A.R. (360): Interval 06: Bridge
Persona 3 Portable (PSP): October 31 - 12/19 SLinks
Katamari Damacy (PS2): Not Started
Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights (3DS): Not Started

My Progress :

Donkey Kong Country 3 (GBA) -Near the end! It's just the fact that my GBA is not backlighted that discourages me
Dragon Quest VIII (3DS) - 30h of play. One of the Best J-RPG I ever played
Paper Mario : Color Splash (Wii U) - I will do it at 100%
The Legend of Zelda : Twilight Princess (Wii) - Not started

Oh well :( but considering that I know nothing about the game (and since I rarely 100% any game) I can't say that bothers me (yet). Thanks for letting me know, though. Hopefully I'll enjoy it :).

Almost sounds like you need a good old fashioned break. I know I get into that rut from time to time, usually I just stop playing games altogether for a few months and focus on reading or something, and then am refreshed when I decide to pick up a game again.

^ Yeah, sometimes it's just best to take a break from games.

March Update:

1. Style Savvy: Fashion Forward (3DS) - Finished
2. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - 40 hours in, still exploring. I have a feeling I'll finish in the next 20 hours or so.
3. Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots (PS3) - Finished
4. Lara Croft GO (Android) - Second to last book. It's a quick game, I just play it at work sometimes.

Rayman Origins (PC) - Cleared the first three worlds. Having a lot of fun with this; a great platformer which makes the most of the UbiArt engine.
Severed (Vita) - Completed and Platinum (09/03). Mechanically and visually stunning, had me hooked all the way through. And at 6 hours it's just the right length.
