I thought this was an incredible game. It has quite possibly my favorite main character in a JRPG (Stocke). I really liked the time traveling mechanics and found the story very interesting. I'm currently replaying Chrono Trigger right now and I still like Chrono Trigger over this one. However, I still give this game high praise and suggest any JRPG fan to play it.

I'm torn between playing the original which I've had sitting on my shelf for years, or just waiting for the remake to come out. Suggestions?

The remake on the 3DS will have some upgrades and added features. With that being said, it may be the more definitive version to play so I would probably just wait for that one. I, for one, have no problem playing this game again. The game is just that good.

Honestly, I didn't like it all that much. I kind of feel the story threw itself off a cliff near the end, and I got annoyed with the difficulty due to me not quite getting the battle system.

That said the 3DS version seems to fix a lot of things up, so we'll see. Short hair Eruca best Eruca tho

I fell off of it pretty quick also. Although I loved the whole time travel/ parallel time lines thing, I really didn't like the battle system. Something about shoving everything together and then hitting them all at once? I could never make it work. I always planned on going back to it though.
