The New Leaf General Discussion

So, I know a lot of people like Animal Crossing, and got New Leaf--so let's talk about it! You can talk about your village, or your neighbors, and post pictures and whatever else here! If you want to get together with other people, though, check out the New Leaf get-together thread. :)

To get the thread a little boost, I'll post some tips. If you have any to add, let me know!

General Animal Crossing Tips
~There are many, many types of fruit in the world of Animal Crossing. Make sure to trade fruit with friends a lot in order to build up a collection!
~In addition to the Money Rock (hit rocks with your shovel and you'll get some bells!), there's also a fake rock that gives you a gem everyday.
~There are 4 fossils per day, instead of the normal 3.
~As mayor, you can remodel your town and create ordinances. The ordinances are:
~ Wealthy Town - You can sell everything for more Bells, but everything also costs more.
~ Night-Owl Town - Everything stays open 3 hours later.
~ Early Bird Town - Everything opens 3 hours earlier.
~ Beautiful Town - Villagers are more likely to plant and water flowers, flowers won't wither as much, and weeds practically will not grow.
