I don't know if it's tolerated on this forum or not, but I was wondering if we could talk about video game related items we want to sell (clothing, games, soundtracks, etc). We could help each other find the proper value for an item, or maybe find a seller/buyer within the HLTB community. If this kind of thread is not okay here, I'll remove/edit the post right away.

Also, selling directly to someone = no commission to eBay and PayPal. But obviousbly, we need to trust each other. I understand that going through eBay offers more security against fraud and stuff, but I'm just wondering what people here think about this.

That being said, I have what I think are TWO really rare and hard to find official vintage Ocarina of Time t-shirts from 1998 to sell. I couldn't find anything about them anywhere, so I can't put a value on them. I think I saw one of them that eventually sold for 80$ USD on eBay. Oh well...I don't want to overcharge, but at the same time, I want to get as much money as I can from them ! hehehe ! They're in great shape for 20 year old shirts. I did wear them when the game came out, but after a few weeks, they went back to storage. I just don't need them anymore and they were always to large for me. So I might as well sell them to some collector or fan. Pictures available to anyone interested...

I actually like the idea of a marketplace here

I like the idea! Hopefully some people don't mind shipping overseas (I may be wrong, but I have the impression that most people here live in either the USA or UK)

I'm in Canada. A few years ago, I sold my Nintendo Power collection to some guy in the UK. He paid like 1000$ CAD for it. He was so happy to get like all first 150 editions or so, all mint (or close) condition. He also paid 400$ CAD shipping for that. All that money helped to expand my collection. Actually, it paid in full for my PS3, New 2DS XL, Wii U, Gamecube and and lot of games ! :)

For a marketplace here on HLTB, it would have to remain a gaming thing tho... like games, figurines, soundtracks, maybe even PC parts or console accessories or things like that.

I'd rather deal with real fans knowing my stuff will be put to good use. It's just the trusting. With eBay and PayPal, there are some garanties and protections...

Yeah, the trusting side of things may be a bit difficult. Hopefully we'll find a way to make the marketplace a thing!

Trust shouldn't be a problem, everyone can send/receive money via PayPal and they have a buyer/seller protection option.

Isn’t that protection only if you go via accredited sellers like Ebay etc rather than private sellers?

I think a marketplace is a good idea but I would prefer to see it just as links to things you are selling on Ebay or whatever, so everyone is protected.

Fees don’t have to be expensive if you wait until one of their offers comes along - I’ve sold a lot of stuff via Ebay recently, valued between £10 and £650, and have taken advantage of their ‘Maximum fee’ offers whereby you pay them no more than £1 or £3 whatever the item sells for. They seem to do it at least once a month for a few days. You don’t have to sell it within that few days, just place the listing - you usually get 30 days grace.

Hope no one minds if I bump this back up. I have a Steam key for The Wonderful 101 Remastered I got from the Kickstarter (the PS4 & Switch versions were delayed, so this was immediately-playable compensation), but I don't want or need it. That said, the last time I sold a code on eBay I got taken for a ride, so I thought I'd try offering it to proper, upstanding citizens instead. Anyone interested? The Switch version is available for preorder on Amazon for $40, so I assume the Steam version will also be that price, but I'll let it go for half that. PM me if you want to make a deal. Thanks!

Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Today Ankha is leaving my island. She's already in boxes. Anyone want her? Average price according to Nookazon is 2,500,000 bells. As she's gifted already and the Nookazon price is inflated I would be fine with a much lower price. Deadline is in about 7.5h at 2020-09-09 22:00 CEST.

As most of you all know, I recently got a big video game lot. I'm slowly going through all the games and I'm slowly transfering stuff I want to my personall collection. I've also selected a few items I'm 100% sure I'm not interested in which I'm ready to sell. I'll post them here, if someone is interested, let me know. The prices are based on the average prices I could find from sold eBay listings, PriceCharting estimates and also local stores I know in my area that usually have fair prices. Also, shipping fees are expensive these days and I'm shipping from Canada, so that's to consider. Finally, I'm also posting those on local Facebook selling groups and local adds in my area.

The first listing is for both of the Tales of Xillia Collector's Editions. There are both sealed. The estimated market value puts the lot at ~400$ CAD / 300$ USD / 230 GPB at the moment.

My second listing is the for the whole .hack set. Sorry folks, I won't break the set. I think I can get more money from someone who's looking to buy the whole set in one shot and not have to hunt down copies everywhere. I'm afraid that if I sell only one or two of them, I might have more difficulties to sell the other ones. They are all complets and in very good condition. Outbreak is still sealed, the rest are opened. The estimated market value puts the lot at ~600$ CAD / 450$ USD / 345 GPB at the moment.

You are free to contact me for more information or more pictures. You can also make an offer. I will consider everything seriously and I hope to find a good home for them. I'm sure someone who enjoys those series could get a good use out of them.

Not to hijack Tiamat's gig, but I've got a few games I'm looking to liquidate, as it were. They're all still new and sealed from my backlog, but I no longer need them. The prices are what I'm looking for, but I'm willing to negotiate.

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Extend [PlayStation Portable] -- $50
La-Mulana EX [Vita] -- $35
No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle [Wii] -- $70

If anyone's interested, let me know and I'll provide pictures. Thanks!

idk if we can still use this thread, or if this is the correct place but here it is

i have an intel master key to get either cuphead, dirt 4 or goatpunks(along with some among us dlc but that doesnt matter), and i think you can only get 1 of these, and anyways, you have to be in the US to use it, for game keys RPG keys for steam, such as ys or ff, ill take offers for any genre, but i prefer getting TF2 keys, 6 keys for this (again, will consider offers)
1:1 for this(so value of offer must be equal to that of cuphead, as thats the most expensive game here)

not selling for real money, just trading
