WOW! Mon Top 1 à ce jour.Updated 1 Week Ago

Few experiences leave you unsettled yet completely satisfied. Outer Wilds is a phenomenal, wildly unique experience that genuinely made me think deeply about life. The theme, message, and story hits hard and it is so integrated in everything it does that it’s hard to not feel moved.
The gameplay is like nothing I’ve ever played, where everything you do is knowledge based progression and puzzle solving. As someone who strives for tangible progression in games to make it feel like I’m being productive/ accomplishing something, I was shocked how much I enjoyed it.
As each session progressed, I dove deeper into the story, desperate to know more. I would spend my work days trying to piece things together.
I’ll never forget the first time I ventured through the black whole in Brittle Hollow and wondered where I was now. Or when I fell out of my spaceship and flew into Giants deep expecting to die from the impact. Completing the quantum tower to discover one of the key rules of quantum mechanics so that I knew exactly how to get on the moon was insane. All of this wrapped up in a beautiful and wonderful conclusion. I was torn that it was over, but so happy that I got to experience it
The sheer amount of eye opening, jaw dropping revelations had me desperate to know how it ended. I couldn’t be more thrilled that there was a DLC to complete which managed to accomplish all the same things.
This is a must play for anyone and I will try to convert anyone I can to playing it. I’m left with a totally dismantled view on what a video game can be and it’s opened up my eyes to the larger world of stories that can be told through this medium.

Updated 3 Weeks Ago

This game is absolutely beautiful. I got so quickly invested in this world, exploring every planet I could, learning everything I could about the story of the world. Every new place I went and every new piece of lore was the most amazing and rewarding experience possible, and the payoff of putting together what I learned resulted in such a beautiful experience all around. This game is easily now on my list as one of the best games I've ever played. I wish I could go back in time to play this again for the first time, but it is an experience I will carry with me in memory forever.Updated 4 Weeks Ago

TOP FUN THINGS TO DO:
⭐️ Exploring astonishing planets.
⭐️ Unravelling a mystery story.
THE UNIQUES:
💎 The. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. Story!
💎 Small on the outside, HUGE on the inside.
PLAYER GAMING REQUIREMENTS:
💼 Exploration.
💼 Mystery.
💼 Puzzle.
PROS:
+ The story is unimaginable.
+ The less you know, the better the outcome.
+ The freedom you have while in your spaceship.
+ Glorious solar system!
CONS:
- Auto-pilot only does so much for you.
- A mind like mine couldn't handle this game.
VERDICT:
I'm going to shock an awful lot of gamers by saying this game completely stunned me (And not in a good way), My brain or possibly my curiosity couldn't deal with what the game was giving, in most cases, a person would push forward and slowly piece together what was being given in front of them. Sadly for me, that wasn't the case, I was slowly getting frustrated with myself because a lot of people we're telling me to push through it, it'll be worth it, and it probably would've been but my mind doesn't work like that and instead I give up on what possibly will be the biggest mistake in gaming history.
But my mind didn't give a toss in the slightest, I closed down the game and looked for the answers online, not so much the solutions to the puzzles but more of a whole walkthrough to the game which killed the experience completely. There was a tiny piece of me that told me not to do it but I ignored that part and got my answers by not playing the whole game.
Don't be like me, a person who couldn't grasp the concept of this game, it'll destroy you on a level that I didn't know that existed until I saw this outcome. Either way, I know I missed an absolute gem and this is a warning to the people who haven't played it yet.
PLAY. IT. FOR. YOURSELF.
Total Score = 81/100.

Świetnie zaprojektowane, zróżnicowane planety, zagadki i przestrzeń kosmiczna tworzą grę, którą każdy musi przejść. Polecam z całego serca i jeszcze bardziej.Updated 1.5 Months Ago

Outer Wilds offers a captivating exploration experience in which the player decides how to approach the adventure. With limited tools and mechanics, and accompanied by a great soundtrack, the game aims to captivate with a background that is not explicit in terms of explanations, but rather through what happens on the various planets of the galaxy. The player explores these diverse and intriguing systems, seeking stories and puzzles, learning to solve them, unraveling the mystery little by little, and finding answers that will undoubtedly leave them far from indifferent. The main mechanic of the game is your own ability to learn. The main mechanics of Outer Wilds are your ability to handle a few artifacts that aid in exploration, the ability to pilot a spaceship, and the maneuverability depending on gravity. There’s also a set of physics driven by the events happening in space and on planets, whether or not the protagonist is present, which in turn makes time a crucial factor.
Its most notable dynamic is undoubtedly the need for learning and the curiosity sparked by advancing in the game. Using each cycle to learn a new concept that can be applied to the different systems is the way to solve the puzzles and move forward in unraveling the mystery.
A mysterious aesthetic, along with moments of terror, and a soundtrack that appeals to the unknown, conveys to the protagonist a particular feeling of loneliness, sometimes despair (especially when the cycle is about to end), reflection, curiosity, and hope when they feel they are making progress in solving the enigma.
Few games will offer you what this one does: a unique and unmatched experience. The space exploration and the mystery to be solved are an absolute marvel, as are its sound design and atmosphere.

- Had to restart multiple times over the course of several years- I can appreciate the value of the game and why others like it, but the lack of direction made it a meh for me
- I would have NEVER been able to figure out half of the things I was supposed to do without using a guide. I would’ve maybe figured out 15% of the game by myself.

Outer Worlds is a great game and I really enjoyed it. I finished it last night and it took me 30 hours to beat it. This is one of the few games that feels like an epic space adventure and I felt so immersed with it at points. I think on Sunday I played 7 hours straight, which I do not do often with games. I tend to max out on 2-3 hours at a time. There's a lot good here with this game, but there were some things that also really bugged me or I didn't care for. Pros:
1. Lore. I do really enjoy lore in games and this game really sucked me in. This game's biggest appeal is the lore and I was sucked in with the history of the Nomai. There was just so much going on and I really got invested in their pursuit of the Eye. Also the hints the lore entries give you on how to progress are clever and usually give you what you need to know. It's a risky move for a developer to give the player that much agency to figure out a problem, but they really wanted to test your reading comprehension--to a detriment at times.
2. Exploration. I like that you are thrown in the middle of the world and slowly have to unravel its mysteries on your own. The open world in this game seems to take some inspiration from BotW in that regard and I think that design philosophy worked really well for this game. The freedom in the beginning and middle of the game is quite nice.
3. Quantum Moon. Getting to the moon, figuring out the puzzles on the moon (I figured out the second rule by myself through trial and error which was super neat), and the payoff at the end was so amazing. Besides the ending, this was by far my favorite sequence of the game. Unbelievably fun.
4. The Ending. I can't say too much without spoiling, but wow. Phenomenal science fiction right here. Up there with Interstellar's ending.
5. Ship Handling. The physics engine is impressive considering an indie team made it. I didn't have much trouble controlling the ship which was my biggest worry coming in. I actually really enjoyed flying around in the ship.
Music. I mean, it is phenomenal. Some really memorable tracks. The title screen song and the ship song are stuck in my head!
Cons:
1. The last third. I felt like the first two thirds of the game had good momentum and you had freedom to branch off and find other secrets if you ever got bored. I didn't feel pigeonholed down a certain path... that is until I hit the last third. I started to realize that you had to complete the vast majority of the rumor map to actually complete the game and that meant doing some of the questlines I was not too fond of (looking at you blackhole forge). Finding those the last few things you needed for completion was a royal pain. While I respect the game trying to force you to rely on your rumor map and to remember what you've seen, it had its problems too. It was hard for me to remember what I had read after dozens of hours of gameplay and I think it really hurts the pace of the game. In addition, the freedom you had in the beginning of the game quickly goes away and you must get to the end of the game in a very specific way which I think went against how the game was presented in the beginning with being more free to find your own path.
2. Platforming. The platforming could be really frustrating, especially on Brittle Hollow where one wrong step and you will have wasted an entire run.
3. The Characters. The characters were charming, but I didn't feel much affinity to them to be honest. Solanum was probably the most interesting, but it had more to do with who she is rather than her personality. Everyone else was pretty forgettable imo.
Overall, I'd give this game an 8/10. It was a really good time and I am happy I experienced it.

As many other people say, it's an amazing adventure, where you unravel the mystery step by step, and it feels really satisfying. The only downside is probably the ending, which is a bit underwhelming. Still, the game is a must play for everyone. And in case you are wondering about the DLC, it's also worth playing. It's about two times shorter than the main game, and is probably less interesting because you already know a lot about this world, but it offers some new game mechanics nevertheless. The only out of place thing about the DLC is a couple of stealth sections, which are not bad per se, but don't really fit in this kind of exploration gameplay.
Still, both Outer Wilds and the Eye DLC are amazing games. And if you want more after finishing the story, there are tons of quirky achievements (like flying a small model ship to another celestial body).

Really awesome game! Touching and with a lot of content and mysteries to resolve! The musics are really putting in the mood and also helping the process of the game! The main game on its own was a real artwork and the DLC offered so much more contente with so many more explanations.I recommend it to anyone but most of all I recommend playing without any spoiler :) unfortunately I was spoiled the concept of the game so the big reveal wasn't much of a shock but I didn't know anything else so it was really awesome!
Finally, the only regret I have is to have chosen the Nintendo Switch to play this game. It was great but there was some big bugs from time to time..

I had such high expectations for this game due to other people's opinions that I kind of spoiled the experience for myself. The game is very good - design of the solar system is amazing and the things you learn organically help you in other parts of the galaxy - but I found myself wanting for a slightly more satisfying ending to the story, and more progression throughout. I had to look up answers to some of the puzzles because of my impatience, which didn't help with the experience. Sorry, Outer Wilds, you deserved better.Updated 4.5 Months Ago
