6.5/10Not a bad DLC. Some cool callbacks and animations to the original game. Makes me think a third person remake of the original RE0 and RE1 would be pretty cool.
However, most of the DLC is puzzles with not very many enemies. Sure, you might kill a few but you could probably go through this entire mode without weapons until the very end. Would have been nice to see some zombies here and there. Final boss is a little "eh" as well.
Still a fun little mode that doesn't carry on for too long.

Cool little dlc with some interesting gameplay and another look at the classic spencer mansion, but it's super short and the final bosses' dodge windows are a tad unforgivingUpdated 11 Months Ago

fun but messy DLC for a fun but messy game— like, there's so much fuckin' text to slog through that's only that way 'cause they don't make much of an effort to make it interesting outside of how invested you are in the franchise, but I honestly kinda love how unabashed all the fanservice is (all the way down to getting to play in a near-identical replica of the Spencer Mansion: complete with classic camera angles if you interact enough with the front door!), even if that means there's a surprising lack of, well, much else— barely any combat, braindead puzzles, hell even the final "fight" with Wesker's literally just a waiting game— still— a really fun idea at least!Updated 1 Year Ago

Having to fight Wesker for a third time after already going through 2 infinitely frustrating forms in the main story is absolutely dreadful. I should've know it would happen, but at the same time I thought it'd just play the cutscene to spare us from the pain.Other than that (and me missing 1 goddamn collectible, just like in RE 3) this is a neat addition to the game. Fills in what happened before the cutscene in the main game.

Cool, but mostly a bunch of reading and then a lackluster stealth portion.Updated 3 Years Ago

Pretty atmospheric DLC. Would have been fun to see Resident Evil 5 try something like this for the main story, though.Updated 4 Years Ago

A DLC with a nod to nostalgia. I could say that this short adventure is better than the full game. A prequel that although it doesn't contribute as much, if it's good experience.Updated 5 Years Ago

The best part of RE5, and with a short enough length that no part of it wears out its welcome.Updated 8 Years Ago

Even if you enjoyed Resident Evil 5, chances are you've moved on by now and shouldn't rely on this content to draw you back in. But for diehard fans – myself included – Lost in Nightmares' revisiting of the series' past, replete with geeky, self-referential humor is definitely worth the modest asking price. The look, sound and feel of the added content are consistent, quality-wise, with the full game and it's an excellent experience, while it lasts.Updated 14.5 Years Ago
