This is one of my favorite games of all time, I love every aspect of it (beside fishing quests) and thinks that everyone should play it.
I am only a little biased I promise.

This game didn't take me almost 450 hours to beat. I don't know how long it took because I didn't beat the game until my 4th play though because I am bad. But when I did I decided that this would be the game I 100%, my first game to 100% and I am very happy to say that this game was the start of this annoying ass hobby.

Um... I don't have much more to say even though I like the game. I guess the nurse is hot. The angler sucks, and no i'm not beating calamity and yes its because I'm bad.

Sometimes I believe that Terraria is the closest we will ever come to a perfect video game. It's deceptive simplicity, sense of adventure, diverse combat, and satisfying sense of progression make it a standout among not one; but the multiple genres that this game falls into. Normally games that devote themselves to this many mechanics turn out sacrificing some elements of one mechanic in favor of others, or all being relatively average. However Terraria's concept and lengthy history of being supported by developers that so clearly love video games, and love what they are doing means that all of the different elements and mechanics of this game blend seamlessly. Terraria is an all time classic, and one that as time goes on only gets better. Play it and thank me later.

Incredible sandbox game. The amount of depth crammed in to this game is crazy. Progression is fun, movement and combat is fun, the soundtrack is fantastic, the visuals are great, the devs are great. Its pretty much impossible to name much negative about this game.

Terraria é muito bom, o equilibrio entre dificuldade e facilidade é excepcional nesse jogo. Além de que o jogo é uma gama de exploração muito boa pra quem é fã como eu em descobrir novas armas, ficar mais forte, mudar as estatisticas dela sem precisar gastar mil anos também para consegui-las... onde o fator as vezes determinante é sorte. Ele tem classes e isso me conquistou kkk se fosse uma variante aventureira, se pah eu não curtiria muito. Já zerei uma vez, mas agora estou a zerar mais uma vez, porem com minha namorada. Então lá se vai mais algumas horas em um jogo que posso dizer que pode ser bem longo.

It's a fun game if you like sandbox games and exploring.
I do find things annoying about this game, it is not beginner friendly or intuitive.
I have played Starbound before and that's a simular game so it was easy enough for me to grasp.

I hate how it does not display recipes and you have to either look it up or show the ingredient to the guide to see what you can make.

I found the game hard to play without looking up guides and walkthroughs. I shouldn't have to do that as there is not enough guidance and also watched videos for bosses and preparing for hardmode. And by Hardmode you should choose which class you want to play as it takes time farming for the items for specific drops.

It is really commendable that this game is reguarly updated, so many devleopers leave games unfinished that could do with more content.

I like building and making unique houses for each NPC that I feel fits them.


Events end up too repetitive and boring. After the first time, they should only happen if you want them to happen by using an item. I got so sick of the Goblin Army and they don't go away unless you take the time to fight them. They are easy to kill just would rather not have to fight them when I don't want to.

The Old One Army is better as you can do it when you want to and not have it continually forced upon you. All events should be when you want to do it.

Also Eye Bone pet for putting items is terrible as most of the time when you go to click on it, it moves away from you or jumps around non stop, making it hard to use.

It is fun and enjoyable to play for a while.
I don't give it as high a score as it goes from relaxed exploring which I love to too much grinding which I hate.
Overall though it is still a good game to play.

Can't recommend this game enough. After 569+ hours on it, I can still find new things to do thanks to how easily moddeable it is.

Side note: played vanilla / terraria overhaul already? 100% try out the Calamity mod! Likely the best mod out there, adds TONS of new content and revamps the original stuff to make it fresh. Just make sure to only play on reveangence mode or higher if you have played terraria on Master mode. It's more difficult than Expert (now called Bone Me Plenty, in my opinion the perfect difficulty for the base game).
