- Removed restriction of hiding DLC & MODs when choosing Main, Main + Sides & Completionist sort types. This caused certain modifiers (DLC/MOD related) to show no data.

Unfortunately, I just got the review bug again. It seems to have started around the update for start times. Did that maybe leave a loop going and it just takes 10-15 minutes for it to crash? Maybe people writing reviews are the only ones on the playthrough page for that long.

I just made a list for only the North American releases. I'm counting 551, but I may have missed a few. Let me know if you find them. The Wikipedia list might also be wrong.

All North American GameCube Games

Wikipedia lists 651 in all regions. My list has some corrections from that list in the description, hence 647. There are some that are counted twice because they had a special disc or an expansion that is basically the same game with bug fixes.

PAL games are in English +95% of the time. Occasionally, you'll get a game that is German or Spanish only. There are also not a lot of PAL exclusives.

Realistically, you could probably play a few of the Japanese titles without knowing Japanese. Shoot-em-ups, beat-em-ups and platformers are going to be basically the same. There are also well done fan translations for around 20 of them. (I have a list that says 23, but some are relocalizations of games we already got here.)

So it's up to you, but you have options. Some of the online games are going to be pretty hard to play either way. Phantasy Star online comes to mind but there might be others. There's probably some that use weird proprietary controllers too.

Hi guys, longtime user of the site. I was just curious as to what the colors blue and red in the background signify when looking at a games hours to beat count? Some games have a blue background for everything while others are in red.

There's a gradiant from red to blue. It is basically the accuracy of the time to beat. When one person adds a time, it's red. The more people that add times, the bluer it gets. With a larger sample size, the estimates become more accurate.

Bonze Adventure and Jigoku Meguri

I would like to nominate Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments . It's a high-brow, mystery game with tons of unique puzzles. It's also probably the most approachable in the series as it has 6 bite-sized mysteries with amazing dialogue, great atmosphere, interesting deduction boards and it even allows you to come to the wrong conclusion.

In the Discord there's been lots of interest in MS-DOS games, so I'd like to nominate one that also has a modern version. Probably the best point-and-click I've ever played...

I've been a little out of the Xbox loop. What are expectations regarding Xbox 360 achievements being discontinued?

A small question. How do I get a text to appear in the URL instead of the entire URL? As shown in the picture. There is only the name of the game, but if you click on it, it leads to the URL. I've tried a bit now, but haven't found how to do it. I know that you can enter a text in the URL field and it will be displayed, but either it doesn't work or the URL is still behind it. Thanks in advance for any answers.

The easy way to do it is to highlight the words you want to appear as a link and press the URL button in the style section. Then write the URL and it will automatically format it for you. It looks like this but with brackets instead on parentheses.

I'm still open to move them back on mobile but I need to sit with the changes for a bit to see how it feels. Desktop change was more so to enable the mobile changes.

The thought was that it may be awkward for new users to be presented with general stats and tools before the input form, which is the entire point of being on the page. Maybe I'm wrong too. Kind of depends on how many people use manual add. I don't use it that often so I prefer to be presented with my actual submission details first.

I would love to hear from more users on that.

I finally got to see the new mobile submission page and I personally dislike it. I can understand not wanting to present community data first when the purpose of the page is submitting personal times, but this feels really bottom heavy. Like all the most interesting and important data is at the bottom. It's like having a profile picture as the footer. It looks better to have the most impact at the top and trailing details below.

It's also confusing UX to have the main submission in the middle of the page. For a few seconds I thought I had to click on the buttons for the manual time form.

On desktop you can have your cake and eat it too with the boxart on the sidebar. I don't really know how to solve that for mobile, but I liked the previous version more.

I do like the tabs for each section. It's much more readable, cleaner and helps memory to separate those out horizontally rather than stacking them like previously. It might make slightly more sense to switch notes and video, so that notes is last.
