Not quite a totally algebraic adventure. Definitely budget-y. It's lacking compared to Zelda 2 because the moveset and movement don't feel as good, and going through the same 2D areas over again a couple times gets old.

It's an easier Zelda II with Adventure Time themeing including the hard mode that you get the code for after finishing the game once through. Beating hard mode gives the secret screen code so at least there is something of a completion bonus. The game is still really hard to figure out without a guide of some sort so I couldn't give it a perfect score despite thoroughly enjoying it for the hard game it is.

A game that gets overlooked because it is based off of a cartoon. A fun throwback to Zelda II of all things with plenty of Adventure Time fanservice to boot.

This game manages to pay homage to Zelda 2 while still feeling like its own thing. The transition from cartoon to video game is so good that I almost feel like I'm playing an episode of the show. The creator of Adventure Time worked on this game and it really shows. The game features the same hilarity and wit that the show brings. The game also has an unforgettable soundtrack made by the legendary Jake Kaufman. Game play wise, there's not much to be impressed about. the combat is pretty bear-bones. You unlock new abilities along the way, but the combat never quite escapes that feeling of blandness. That being said, I still enjoyed the heck out of this game. The story and music keep you invested and almost make you forget about the basic game play. If you love Adventure Time, you will like this game. it is a short, but very memorable experience.

A harmless and cute little tribute to games such as Zelda II. However, despite a good soundtrack, animation quality, sound design, and presentation, the actual gameplay is rather dull and becomes repetitious towards the end. As a TV show-based video game, it manages to stand out amongst a slew of half-baked and phoned in attempts but doesn't manage to remain completely flawless. 6/10

Super linear and short. The combat's kinda lame, with the exception of boss fights. Music is nice, though not very memorable. But it has that Adventure Time charm. Not worth replaying, but fun for the first time.

It has everything an Adventure Time fan woud expect, and it is very respectul and faithful to the cartoon. This is a really fun and enjoyable game. It's a pitty it's so short.

As a teenager I was pretty awful in platformers. When everyone was finishing Mario Bros, I had hard time climbing the ladders in the first level of Donkey Kong. I found solace in beating some really long RPGs, and the satisfaction of completing an 80-hours grind was second to none.

Now, when my kids tearing Mario Galaxy and require my participation, I made some renewed attempt at the genre. Adventure time: Hey Ice King! Why
