I highly vouch for Dread, one of my favourite games ever. Especially recommend if you’ve already played some Metroids. Hope you love it!

I've been playing through all the Metroids, besides Federation Force, chronologically the last few years. I got up through Fusion last October so I'm looking forward to it. Thank you, it looks amazing!

I want to finally play Metroid Dread and Doom Eternal. I've had both of them since 2021 and haven't touched them.

Gate - Mega Man X6
The only way to damage him is to shoot his projectiles back at him. Between attacks, he alternates between hovering and flying toward your current position, which I find annoying as hell. This fight takes places on randomly placed small platforms above a bottomless pit.

Infested Chopper - Devil May Cry 2
I'm not enraged at it like everyone else, but it's really boring just mashing square for ten minutes, occasionally hitting devil trigger.

Boost Guardian - Metroid Prime 2
Holy shit, this boss pissed me off when I first played the game, along with the Spider Guardian. It boosts around the arena fast in seemingly random directions while being invulnerable during this. Its vulnerability window is from what I remember, too short. I think it took me like 4 times tries to beat it.

Boss Rush - Devil May Cry 3
Not a single boss, I know. I always dread this part of the game, because it's very pace-breaking, time consuming, and pointless. I know you only have to fight three, but it still is pointless.

Mission 19 - Devil May Cry 4
Same as above, but now with die rolling.

Dragon God - Demon's Souls
Instead of a fight, you're just playing walking down a path, hiding behind pillars, so much fun.

Dark Gaia - Sonic Unleashed (PS3/360)
This boss fight led to me to just give up on the game back when I first played it because I couldn't get past the last Sonic part. The invisible time limits on the Sonic portions are really frustrating, and the Gaia Colossus section is tedious.

Bed of Chaos - Dark Souls
Do I even need to explain it?

One night this summer I played Overwatch with my friend for 13 hours.

Devil May Cry 2 - It's not as good as the other four games, for sure, but I still enjoy it. Plus playing as Trish makes it even better.

Mega Man X7 - Everyone seems to hate this game and find it inferior to X6 for some reason. In my opinion, it's a decent game that does something unique compared to the other X games.

4 and 5 were pretty difficult since Mega Man X and Ocarina of Time are in my top 5 but we can only have one per franchise.

I would consider it as additional content since it came out after launch. I would have it as a part of Main + Extra time.

D.va is my favorite as well, she's really fun to play as.

I'm excited for Bayonetta 3, Dead or Alive 6, Devil May Cry 5, Doom Eternal, and Team Sonic Racing.

I'm looking forward to Metroid Prime 4 as well; I hope it comes out next year.

I buy new games on Amazon and I buy used / retro games at my local used game store or sometimes on eBay if I can't find it in the Wild.

Mine is Mega Man because my favorite game series is Mega Man.

The Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past, Sonic Adventure 2, and Sonic The Hedgehog 1-3.

I would love to see a remake of Mega Man Legends and Devil May Cry.

I've only beaten Awakening and only played a little bit of all U.S. released FE games. From the 6 or 7 chapters I played of Shadow Dragon, it just seems bland to me in comparison to the rest of the series.

I played the first DMC back in 2015 and I really liked it. I decided to get 3 before playing anymore of the first game (Only played the first three missions of 1 up to that point.) Now I have beaten each game in the series (except the reboot, fuck that game) at least three times. The first Devil May Cry still is my favorite in the series and one of my favorite games of all time. There's just something about to me that makes it better than the other games.

DMC 1 was no doubt an influential game; without it God of War, Ninja Gaiden (reboot series), and Bayonetta probably wouldn't have existed.

I bought this game for that reason, but now I kinda regret it.

For starters, Doom 3 BFG is inferior to regular Doom 3. Worse graphically and way harder to mod. The only thing it had for it was being able to use the flashlight and weapons at the same time, but that can be achieved in the other with a simple mod.

Second, it is posible to take the included Doom 1 and 2 and install source ports on them. But it's way more work, so not convenient at all.

I was wrong, see edit((At least I believe they have all the content)). But if I could speak to past me, I would tell myself to buy Doom 3 + expansion and The Doom classics pack. The only thing that BFG has for it it's that it's a bit cheaper, but it's not that much either.

EDIT I just looked into it, and It does not include all the content for the classic games. I does have all of Doom 1 (Ultimate Doom which is Doom 1 + expansion episode), But not all of Doom 2. It is lacking Final Doom (extra episode for Doom 2) and Master Levels for Doom 2 (collection of levels made by 3rd parties curated by id). But it does have an extra episode called "No rest for the Living" which is not possible to get outside of BFG. So to get all the content you need to buy BFG, Doom 2 (you get Master levels for free with it) and Final Doom.

I don't own a PC, is this the best way to play them on consoles?

I'm interested in the Doom series and this seems like a convenient way to get the first three games. Are they competent ports and do they have all the content of the PC originals?

The most expensive game I own is Fire Emblem Path of Radiance. I'm so glad I got it back in 2013 because it's so freaking expensive now.

Fatal Frame is a great, underappreciated survival horror series and I wish more people will discover it and enjoy it. Fatal Frame II is, imo, the best survival horror game ever made.

For me, it's Fatal Frame / Project Zero. It's a great survival horror series that doesn't get the recognition it deserves imo.

My favorite food is macaroni and cheese and my favorite drinks are water and root beer.
